Baker Scholarship
Granting
Grants are given out on an annual basis. In 2020, over $600,000 was granted to various charitable organizations and municipalities from Foundation assets and we worked with Community Foundations of Canada to distribute another $105,000 available from the federal government through the Emergency Community Support Fund.
The deadline for grant applications is August 15 each year. Grant decisions are made prior to the calendar yearend.

Rudy and Flora Baker Scholarship in Medicine
The Rudy and Flora Baker Scholarship in Medicine is awarded annually to a graduate of a high school in the Battle River School Division who is enrolled in an accredited Canadian medical school.
