The Battle River Community Foundation is honoured to pay tribute to the life and legacy of Mr. Gerald Davis, who passed away on November 19, 2022 at the age of 78.
Gerry was a well-known realtor in the community for over 40 years, loving husband, supportive father, and avid outdoorsman with many talents and passions.
As a respected community leader and businessman, Gerry sat on numerous boards and committees in Camrose. This includes 12 years as a member of the Battle River Community Foundation Board. He served three consecutive terms three-year terms from 1998 through 2006, then returned in 2008, serving another three-year term. Gerry held a number of committee and executive positions with the Foundation including serving as Board Chair in 2006.
Gerry and his wife Cathy established the Gerry and Cathy Davis Fund at the Foundation as a Community Fund allowing the Foundation Board to select grant recipients from applications received annually, serving changing community needs forever.
